Jesse turns 47

This week’s post is not about the ship in the background, (which is the oldest commissioned ship in the Royal Canadian Navy), but its about the man standing to my right and celebrated his 47th Birthday this past week.   I could not have asked for a better partner to stand beside in all our life’s adventures, celebrations, milestone, travel, parties, and just hanging out on the couch.  Jesse is the man who keeps me grounded, the rational council to my crazy ideas and the guy I love to spend every day of my life with.

In the week leading up to his birthday we spend it touring Newfoundland for the first time, and seeing what Atlantic Canada was all about. Yet when the big day arrived, we had to resort to ordering in dinner, because we both had COVID-19. Not how either of us envisioned celebrating his 47th birthday, but I would not have wanted to be quarantined with anyone else.

Happy Birthday Jesse!
