2 groups come together
This is a great example of the relationships you can build within the organizations you work, and volunteer with, that bring people together to do great things. The Niagara Branch of St. John Ambulance came out to support the Regional Cadet Support Unit, Niagara and Greater Toronto Area training exercise that I was hosting in Niagara this weekend. An outstanding group of volunteers were not only on hand to help with first aid-related matters, but also to talk to the cadets about first aid and give tours of the ambulance, which everyone seemed keen to see. A special thank you goes out to my good friend, Adam Carter who helped make it possible through the branch, and I know that Hector Silva also had a big hand in bringing this together. Sometimes it pays to have people who work in both organizations to help show the value of partnering up.
