A year to celebrate

It’s always great to get mail, especially when it’s something that you didn’t expect was coming.  This week unexpected due to either being on some sort of mailing list, or because someone was thinking of me, I received this First Day Cover.  Which because I don’t know made this possible, this is my only way of thanking them.   “THANK YOU”

As part of the Platinum Jubilee celebration for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Canada Post has released a very elegant stamp.  This is one of just a few ways that we as Canada have chose to mark this milestone moment in history.  It is increasable reflect on the fact she has been Queen of Canada for 70 years. Dedicating a lifetime to service the nation as head of state, and seeing us thought the good and bad times we have endured.

2022 is the year packed full of reasons to celebrate!  If your Sovereign Platinum Jubilee isn’t enough to get you out dancing on the street, then the hope that after two years of this pandemic we are seeing a return to the new normal, where we can visit friends, go out to eat and enjoy all that life has to offer.  If that still is not enough, then you can join me in celebrating my 40th decade of circulating the sun on this planet in June.

If we have only learned one thing in recent years it should be to celebrate every moment of our life, and take full advantage of the days we have here to share with family and friends.
